A Porsche Panamera hybrid is anything but boring
By Product Expert | Posted in Porsche Panamera on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at 1:11 pmHow fast is the hybrid version of the 2021 Porsche Panamera?
As we have said before a few times on the Porsche Delaware Blog, the Porsche Panamera checks off a lot of boxes for drivers. But did you know that it is also available with a very high-performance gas-electric hybrid system? Just because any of the 2021 Panamera E-Hybrid models might save fuel, that doesn’t mean it’s any less eager to run. So, how fast is the hybrid version of the 2021 Porsche Panamera? Well, that will depend on which three electrified versions you choose to take home Turbo S E-Hybrid, 4S E-Hybrid and 4 E-Hybrid. Let’s take a closer look at what you can expect to see once the 2021 Porsche Panamera family starts to arrive at our showroom.

2021 Panamera Hybrid Performance Specs
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will be the most powerful model in the four-door coupe’s lineup. It will have a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter, V-8 engine under the hood that will make a grand total of 689 horsepower and 642 pound-feet of torque.
It will accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in about three seconds. One of the secrets behind the high-performance hybrid is its more power-dense battery pack that has increased its capacity to 17.9 kilowatt-hours.
Buyers not interested in the Panamera and the efficiency of its hybrid lineup, but don’t really need nearly 700 horsepower, can choose the 4S E-Hybrid or 4 E-Hybrid models.
Both will use a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V-6 engine. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid will make 455 horsepower and the 4S E-Hybrid will make 552 horsepower. These two versions of the Panamera hybrid will also post sub-five-second zero to 60 mph times.
We are still waiting to hear about the fuel economy scores for the 2021 Panamera hybrid family. We understand the information will be available closer to the vehicle’s on-sale date after the beginning of the 2021 calendar year.
